It is no secret that I am obsessed with makeup. I have so much makeup that I barely know what to even do with it at this point. I do seem to have plenty of favorites though. Lately green eyeshadow and liner have been calling my name. I have also already talked about many of these products. These are just my current Go-To’s as of February 2019!
1.) Rimmel Scandal’Eyes Palette – Jewel Rocks edition
Wow, just wow. This palette is only $8 and it is one of my favorite palettes, right up there with my high-end palettes. It has a similar color scheme to the Anastasia Subculture palette, with a few extra teals and blues thrown in. I never thought I would like green eyeshadow, but wow, this palette has ignited my green eyeshadow obsession. It blends amazing and for the price, you just can’t beat it!
2.) Huda Beauty Gemstone Obsessions palette in Emerald
More green eyeshadow! Everytime I wear this palette out, I get so many compliments on my makeup. This palette blends amazing and looks gorgeous on the eyes. It blends effortlessly. The matte green shades have a light pigmentation to them, making them perfect for blending out in the crease. The shimmers are vibrant and completely brighten the eyes up. I have recently realized that warm tones are not the most appropriate for my skin tone and I would recommend these cool greens to anybody who has a cool undertone to their skin!
3.) Flower Beauty Light Illusion foundation in the shade L1
I love this foundation. I initially thought that it was causing breakouts but the more I use it, the more I love it. The breakouts I was getting whe I first tested this foundation were due to other causes. It makes my skin looks so smooth and it hydrates my dry, winter skin. It leaves my skin dewy and luminous, I even have to stay away from my dewy setting sprays. A dewy finish setting spray mixed with this foundation will turn one’s face into a GREASEBALL. Initially the foundation was too warm-toned for me, but I recently bought the L.A. Girl blue foundation mixing pigment and this makes the foundation cooler.
4.) L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara in waterproof
I am not one who usually places too much importance in mascara, as I am constantly using false lashes, but this mascara holds a curl and adds the right amount of volume to my stubby eyelashes. It also never runs throughout the day. I have been having a lot of issues with watery eyes due to seasonal allergies and this mascara never runs on me. I just a brand new one off of Amazon!
5.) Too Faced Natural Matte eyeshadow palette
This palette is absolutely perfect for adding blending and transition shades into looks. The neutral shades are perfect for “work” makeup. It also smells like coconut, mmm! You can tell just by looking at this palette that it has been well-loved, (excuse the dirty palette).
6.) MAC Modesty lipstick
This lipstick works well with almost any makeup look imaginable. It’s a beigey-pink shade, which works well on many different skin tones. My new go-to!
7.) Wet n’ Wild’s lipstick in the shade Bare it All
This works perfectly with green eyeshadow looks. I have such a hard time finding nude lipsticks which do not wash me out, both MAC modesty and Bare it All do not wash me out. It has a beigey-brown tone in it, adding the right amount of color to my lips without competing with my eyeshadow.
8.) Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio in the Shade “Pool Party”
I got lucky at snagged this trio at my local T.J. Maxx for $10. It is a beautiful quad. It has a perfect peach color, called “Kash”, to go with my warmer eyeshadow looks but it also has a perfect cool pink blush color, called “Pageant”, which works well with my skintone. There is a warm mauve shade in here called “Blank”, which works well as a contour with my pale, cool-toned complexion.
9.) Sephora brand Crayon Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil in “Good Mood”
This is a rich, deep emerald green pencil. I got it on sale at the Flagstaff mall Sephora in JC Penney’s, I do not even know if you can get it anymore. It does work perfectly with a lot of my green eyeshadow looks. I included a swatch of this pencil.
10.) Chanel Blush in the shade “Pink Explosion”
I bought this blush a couple of weeks ago. It is a vibrant, light cool-toned pink. It works well with my cool-toned skin. Usually powder blushes fade off on me throughout the day, but this blush stays on ALL DAY. It smells amazing and the powder simply glides on through application. I have been using this blush constantly lately. The cost is high but many reviewers online say that the Chanel blushes last FOREVER.
